Al and Linda Stoltzfus purchased Americas Best Value Inn, formerly known as Colonial Inn Motel, in 1993. Al was from a tourist area in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and Linda came from the glitz of Southern California. They met in the mountains of Colorado when Al, a drywall contractor, applied for a mortgage loan from Loan Officer Linda. Amazingly, these two backgrounds fit nicely into their new opportunity of renovating an older property into an award winning 3 Diamond AAA property located in the mountain resort town of Glenwood Springs.
